The Appeal
The X350 looked like a traditional Jaguar, but this was a new car with a firm eye on the future. The heritage lines were constructed of corrosion-resistant, lightweight aluminium, which made the car surprisingly agile for one so large, helped by clever adaptive air suspension.
Those qualities are particularly noticeable with this car, the supercharged XJR. Its 4.2L V8 delivers a supercar-esque 400bhp, yet it is as luxurious and comfortable as you’d expect from a big Jag. This car is an early X350 with the purer styling and is finished in popular Pacific Blue metallic with an ivory leather cabin. Both are well kept, even high traffic areas such as the driver’s seat and bolster presenting well.
The car has been well maintained its five keepers, the current one since 2016. The service book shows a run of work by main dealers and specialists to January 2026. The MOT runs to November 2026.
As the last of the classically styled XJs, this high performance XJR would make any A to B entertaining and rewarding.
