The Nissan 350Z was first launched in July 2002 in Japan, and a month later in the U.S. Fitted with the front engine 3.5 litre V6 engine and rear-wheel drive, the 350Z produces a healthy 287bhp 274 lb-ft of torque, with a claimed 0-60 mph of 5.5 seconds and a top speed limited to 155 mph.

Nissan reduced the bhp specs in later years to meet emission controls, but you will be pleased to know this came into play after the 2004 model we have here.

In the U.S, the car got 5 trim package options which were the Base model, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track editions. Over in Europe, when it was released 12 months later in 2003, the car came as standard with the Track edition spec.

This included Brembo brakes, Front air dam, rear spoiler, cloth seats, traction control, VLSD (limited-slip differential) and optional navigation. Another option was the GT Pack, which this particular model we have here has fitted, and it included Bose hi-fi, cruise control, and heated, leather and electric seats.

Another option was the 18” Rays forged wheels which save an impressive 4 kg per corner over the original wheels.

The seller of this exceptionally well presented and kept 2004 Nissan 350Z, has owned the vehicle for five years. When he purchased the 350Z, it had just 3,400 miles on the car and had been stored on display and unused in a car showroom for the previous three years, before coming out and completing just 32 miles before the seller purchased it. 

From the beginning of 2004, this 350Z has never had a lot of use, covering just 1,444 miles in its first year, then 715, 222, 372 gradually getting lower as the years went on, until the time it went on display as a superb example. The mileage is all stamped up and can be verified with the MOT history on the government website.

The seller has been meticulous about keeping and storing the car, as you can see from the stunning condition. He has always ensured it has been in a warm, dry storage area, it gets cleaned before being put away, and it’s never been taken out in the rain whilst in his ownership. 

With little use and already owning some other vehicles, one of which is a motorhome that tends to get priority on a sunny weekend to scoot off somewhere lovely, rather than a run out in the 350Z, the seller has decided to part with it.

It is a reluctant sale, but the little use justifies it. He is just hoping that the car will go to someone who is as enthusiastic about 350Z’s as he is.

The V5 is present for the Nissan and shows 2 previous keepers. There are also 3 keys present, two of which have the lock/unlock fobs built in. 

The car has an MOT which will expire on 28th June 2022. 

The registration number for the vehicle will be staying on, as the seller doesn't wish to retain it as he’s not planning to replace the car. 

The Nissan has everything! Included with the sale are the press postcard photographs giving you snippets of information about the car. The owner's manual and service book are present with 9 stamps. 

In addition, there are invoices for regular servicing and a recent set of tyres in 2021, plus the old MOT certificates which help document the history. 

Also included is a Snooper S5-R Safety Alert System, (it is your decision whether to use it or not). This has a hard-wired cable and would just sit on top of the dashboard.

What a place to be! The Sunset Orange leather seats match the exterior of the 350Z, and these are working as they should on the electric and heating side. The leather is in excellent condition, with just a minimal amount of patina to the driver's side bolster. 

The passenger seat is also working as it should and is in excellent order. The door cards are finished in black leather, free from any scuffs or damage. 

The dashboard in the 350Z, as you would expect for the mileage, is unmarked. Sitting behind the steering wheel, which is also finished in Orange and Black to match the seats, the instruments are working as they should and with no warning lights displayed when the engine is running. 

The odometer shows a reading of 8,650. Towards the centre, the auxiliary gauges are mounted to the top of the dash and measure the volts and oil pressure with a healthy reading.

Lower down, open the panel to reveal the screen for the satellite navigation system. Below is the factory fitted 6 disc head-unit, which also has a cassette option. This gear knob is also finished in perforated orange leather, which shows minor wear, with just some very light scratches to the aluminium insert, possibly caused by a ring. 

The armrest has the remote control mounted to it to control the satellite navigation, and inside, the mount for the factory fitted Nokia mobile phone is in place and included with the car. 

The carpets are in excellent condition, with a set of factory 350Z mats fitted to protect them. The headlining is excellent, with no issues to report. Into the boot, you guessed it….spotless! Everything is present, and the spare has never seen the road.

The inspiration for the interior was the stunning Sunburst Orange paintwork, which, when in the sun, just pops beyond belief! This car is 17 years old and only has 8,650 miles on the clock, meaning that stone chips are at an absolute minimum, you really are hard pushed to find any. 

We did spot a small blister on the edge of the bonnet, which the seller reports has been there for the past 5 years he has owned it and never got any worse. The paintwork was enhanced with a full detail earlier this month, (March). 

The lights are crystal clear with no issues to point out, and everything aligns as you would expect from the bumper, bonnet through to the doors on both sides and boot lid; nothing looks to be amiss. 

The windows are all excellent with no scratches to point out. The rear lights are in the same condition and have no issues to point out. The 350Z has had the boot struts replaced, ensuring the large boot lids stays in place when open. 

The wheels are the original forged Rays wheels and have been refurbished and powder coated. This was done because of a few minor imperfections, which annoyed the seller, and he wanted them right.

These were then shod in the finest Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres in March 2021, and have covered approximately 1,150 miles.

Nissan installed the 3.5 litre V6 (VQ35DE) engine in the 350Z. As you would imagine, with just 8,650 miles covered and having been well maintained, this is in excellent condition with no issues to report. 

The car was last serviced at 8,128 miles by the seller's regular garage, which he has used for many years. A new battery was also fitted after the old one went past its best in 2021. 

The seller reports that driving the car is fantastic, and everything is working as it should be. The car pulls well, with a nice smooth change through the manual 6-speed gearbox. 

Looking to the underside of the Nissan, and there are no signs of any oil leaks. The W brace and Kidney brackets look to be free from corrosion thanks to their dry use and annual Waxoyl protection.

Stopping the car are well-known Brembo calipers, finished in gold and in excellent condition, with no tarnishing or discolouration. These bring the vehicle to a stop as they should with no juddering through the foot pedal.

A reluctant sale by the seller has given someone a fantastic opportunity to own such a great car! This ultra-low mileage 2004 Nissan 350Z has covered just 8,650 miles. It has been well maintained by the current seller, who has owned it for five years. 

Being enthusiast owned, it spends most of the year covered up in dry storage and is started every 2 weeks to keep everything ticking over as it should.
