The Appeal
No one else does big, powerful convertibles quite like Mercedes-Benz. They offer a quite unique blend of comforting luxury with sporting prowess and exceptional German engineering. The CLK is a fine example of this neat tightrope walk. Beautifully finished and opulent in its fitments, yet offered a wealth of powerful engine and drivetrain combinations.
Here we have a very smart, low mileage 3.5-litre V6 model. With the ubiquitous automatic transmission, it makes for a very smooth cruiser but still has more than enough punch to thrill when required. With less than 25,000 miles on the clock and a very fine history, this is a rare and desirable machine. Make sure you don’t let this one slip you by…
The History and Paperwork

- Smart Basalt Grey leather, with black secondary leather, looks very smart and exhibits hardly any evidence of wear and tear
- Black carpets with branded black ‘Avantgarde’ floor mats – all present nicely, with minimal wear and no staining or threading we could see
- Black Ash wood veneer trim has a fetching sheen, with no signs of damage or delamination
- Electrically operated “multi-contour” front seats, with memory function
- Automatic child seat recognition system
- Dual zone air conditioning
- Electric windows and door mirrors
- Hands-free phone connection
- CD/radio sound system
- Parking sensors front and rear
- Automatic headlights
- Removable mesh wind deflector
- Even with the roof stowed, the boot is a useful size, trimmed out with neat black carpet
- The vendor informs us that everything works just as it should, with no issues or faults at all
The Exterior
- Obsidian Black metallic paintwork shows very well indeed, with no blemishes, marks or scuffs to note, just a few minor stone chips
- The black fabric roof is electrically operated and the material looks to be taut and free from UV damage or tearing
- All of the brightwork and badging looks to be complete and in good order, with no notable wear or pitting we could see
- The glass elements and light lenses look to be clean and clear, with no cracks or chips in evidence
- We think the 18-inch multi-spoke wheels really suit the CLK, and they present in a fine state, with no major marks or scuffs, just a couple of areas of light kerbing to the lips
- The wheels wear a set of Continental tyres, and we’re told that the fronts were fitted about 1,000 miles ago

A truly handsome, well-specified, low mileage executive convertible. Having seen so little use and being so well maintained, we see no reason why this lovely machine shouldn’t be delighting its new owner for many more years to come…
