The 997 Carrera 4 S Cabriolet has got to be one of the more desirable Porsche 911 models from recent years. It has the 3.8 litre engine so there’s plenty of legendary Porsche performance available and the wide-bodied look, with the up-rated brakes and suspension and the added security of permanent all-wheel-drive makes this one hell of a driver’s car, especially with the Sport Chrono Package Plus option, which allows you to change the driving characteristics of the car to suit your mood and road conditions.

The black leather interior has some signs of use commensurate with age and mileage but, being a Porsche 911 interior, it has fared very well and still is a great place to be sitting.

Some of the switchgear show signs of use, the ashtray is missing the lid and insert, and there are a few scratches and scuffs to be found, but the integrity and presentation of the interior is still good overall.

The electric cabriolet hood opens and closes nice and smoothly and sits well when either up or down, and some leather treatment to the driver’s seat bolster will certainly smarten the seat up a lot.

The Atlas Grey paintwork is in good overall condition but does have quite a lot of light scratches around the bodywork, which a good machine polish will probably help to remove, as none of them are deep scratches. 

The original wheels are in great condition, all fitted with good tyres, and the black hood is in good overall condition with no marks, rips, tears or loose stitching.

A nicely cared for and well-maintained example of the legendary Porsche 911, with an excellent service record and no reported faults.

Last serviced at the end of 2021, around 1,000 miles ago, at which time the Oil/Air/Separator was also replaced to address a minor oil leak.
