The Appeal
The trouble with supercars by makers like Ferrari and Lamborghini is that when you need to carry lots of people, lots of stuff and perhaps one or two livestock, they come up short. That’s where Dodge’s SRT0 comes in. Borrowing the 500bhp 8.3L engine from the firm’s own homegrown supercar, the Viper, and dropping it under the bonnet of its gargantuan RAM pick up created a truck that could do every one of those things.
These were expensive and rarefied vehicles, and they are rare in Europe. This very low mileage 2007 model is the versatile Quad Cab version with four doors and seating for six. Naturally, there is also a massive load deck, protected here with a body colour load cover.
Trucks don’t get much faster or more American than this. Definitely one for the practical DIYer, builder or small holder with places to go, and fast.
