The Appeal

The third-generation BMW 6 Series arrived in 2011, sharing its platform and much of its underlying technology with the contemporary 5 Series and 7 Series. Unusually, the Convertible preceded the Coupé to market and featured a clever rear window that could be raised independently of the fabric roof, helping to reduce wind buffeting when driving with the top down.
