The Appeal
The 2012 BMW 640D SE Convertible combines classic 6 Series styling with the efficiency and strength of BMW’s acclaimed twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre diesel engine, delivering effortless long-distance cruising as well as impressive performance. With its convertible roof, this model offers year-round usability, from luxury coupe with the roof up, to open-air grand tourer with the roof down in a matter of seconds.
This particular car presents especially well and is finished in Black Sapphire with an Ivory White Dakota leather interior. It has covered very few miles since receiving new brakes, discs and tyres all round, and is equipped with 20-inch, 20-spoke alloy wheels that provides its very own distinctive stance. Its condition overall is clean and well preserved for a 2012 example, and is said to “scrub up well” by the current owner. The fabric roof is described by the seller as being “almost new” and the interior remains free from obvious wear, with only light cosmetic marks throughout.
Here is the perfect opportunity to secure a striking and well-cared-for example of BMW’s convertible grand tourer. Its combination of strong road presence, timeless styling and the reassurance of recent investment, ensures that this 640D remains “a car to be proud of” both today and in the future.
