The Rapide was introduced in 2010 as the first four-door saloon the company had produced in twenty years. It combines the luxury and performance which Aston Martin is famous for, with the practicality of a car which can carry four full-size humans and some luggage.
This particular example is presented in beautiful condition throughout, having covered a low mileage and evidently been well cared for. The Quantum Silver paintwork is smart and the black leather interior shows very little sign of use.
And the car proudly wears the carbon-fibre exterior trim pack, which adds a subtle hint to its performance capability. In all, this Rapide is a car you’ll want to drive everywhere, and there’s no reason not to.

Opening the door to the cabin of this Aston Martin reveals a beautifully luxurious interior with all the refinements you would expect to see on a car of this calibre. The leather upholstery — specifically Obsidian Black Caithness with red stitching — is beautifully presented, with almost no signs of wear that we could identify. In fact, the driver’s seat looks almost as though it has never been sat in.
The expertly stitched hide contents onto the door cards and the centre console, as well as the dashboard and is in excellent condition throughout. There are plenty of well positioned buttons and switches, showing few signs of wear. The steering wheel is finished in matching leather and features controls for the upgraded B&O audio system as well as the cruise control.
Black carpets complete the ensemble, and again are well preserved and tidy. There is seating for two rear passengers, ergonomically designed and provided with an entertainment system to stave off boredom on longer journeys. The Rapide’s four-door body makes it a very practical choice for those who regularly need to transport passengers. But it certainly doesn’t compromise on style, with its flowing lines and powerful stance.
The body panels all look to be very straight and true, with no signs of damage or repair that we could see. And the Quantum Silver paint is beautifully presented throughout and the car has picked up very few scratches in its ten years on the road.
The car also benefits from being fitted with carbon fibre trim pieces, including the wing mirrors and front and rear bumper trim. This lends the car a sporting look and sets it apart from the crowd.
This Aston Martin stands on a set of alloy wheels, some of which have picked up some scuffs, but they still look good from a distance. They are shod in a set of Pirelli P Zero tyres. And underneath the car presents extremely well, with only a little surface corrosion to be seen on a few components, but no obvious signs of damage that we could see.
The long bonnet of this Rapide hides a superbly capable engine: the six-litre V12 provides a thunderous soundtrack to accompany your journey. It is said to start and run well, and has been regularly serviced. The accompanying service record shows a comprehensive set of stamps.
An automatic transmission allows for effortless driving and lightning quick gear changes which can be controlled through the delightfully tactile paddles. Recent servicing has included nearly £1,800 spent at HMW Sports Cars in January 2023. This covered an MOT test, a new battery and handbrake repair.
The engine bay certainly looks clean and tidy. And taking a look underneath, the running gear appears to be in similarly good condition.
