Description
1975 MGB Roadster in Old English white. Brand new heritage shell in 2002 and subsequent full restoration. Still looks fantastic today with zero rust issues. As you would expect floor pan and all panels are in excellent shape. The underneath is painted in the same color. Treated to a full waxoil at the same time to preserve condition. Most of the chrome has been replaced for new and the early style grill fitted. A full painted wire wheel conversion was done and again is still all in fine order. The convertible double duck hood in Navy was replaced new and has a matching half tonneau for when the roof is down. These are both in as new condition. The original engine has had a full rebuild and an unleaded head conversion was done. Performs very well. The overdrive function in 3rd and 4th is all working correctly. The engine bay and engine are very clean and free of any issues with most if not all ancillaries being replaced ie radiator, battery, starter etc The interior is all excellent. Full retrim done some years ago in all matching Navy, still looks and feels new. Addition of a period Motalita steering wheel. There is battery isolator behind the seat. The boot space again is very clean and houses a jack , wheel mallet, and a matching new wire spare.
Out on the road the car performs just as it should and is a pleasure to drive. In Old English White (Cream) and wire wheels with the French Navy hood the overall appearance is spot on . The recorded mileage is Circa 37k miles . We don’t have history going all the way back to new but this was confirmed by previous two owners.
