Description
This marvellous looking three position drop-head coupe offers the classic car enthusiast an excellent opportunity to purchase an iconic Alvis at an affordable price. This car has been in same ownership for 28 years, and has given much enjoyment over this time. This is a very spacious motor car but easy to drive, with light steering and an easy gear change. The bodywork is good and sound and the underside of the car is excellent, though not show standard of course - this car has been used regularly. The interior is very good indeed, with new upholstery and three position canvas hood (ie hood completely up, hood completely down, or simply roll back the cockpit area). The car starts easily and runs along well, although it could no doubt do with a service now. Wheels, tyres and exhaust are all good. The paintwork is not so good, and the wind-up windows need a little tlc. V5C, continuation logbook and pile of paperwork. A lovely old car for classic family motoring. Would also make a fabulous wedding car.
