1989 Austin Mini Racing Green Limited Edition. This is a very rarely seen limited edition mini in fantastic original condition. I have sold 740 minis and this is the first Racing Green I have ever had! It was bought new by Mr Bennett and he kept it for 25 years until he passed away and it was then left to his family. It has been owned by the same family for 31 years and has only covered 3800 miles from new. The condition is outstanding and original. I have taken pictures of the underside to show off the remarkable time warp condition. Mr Bennett was a mini fanatic and he added some nice period extras to the car. It has wider Mini Lite alloy wheels, stainless steel exhaust, bumper overriders and a lovely Motalita wooden steering wheel. It has front and rear mud flaps, chrome spot lights and a period GB badge. Mr Bennett was interested in a John Cooper engine conversion and we wrote to John Cooper and John Cooper wrote back in person explaining about the benefits of having it fitted. The letter is signed by John Cooper which is a nice addition to the history file. He did not have the conversion done but its a nice story to tell. The special number plate has been on the car from new and cost £650. 00 31 years ago. The mini has just been serviced and MOTed which also included 4 new Yokohama A539 tyres as the originals look new but are 31 years old! This mini feels very responsive and accelerates really well and better than most 998 cc minis that I have driven. It also corners better due to the wider wheels. This offers a unique and very special mini in outstanding condition with a remarkable mileage and history.
