1960 BSA Gold Star 500 cc DBD 34 GS , Engine number DBD 34GSS5112 , Frame number CB32C5112 , Outstanding example , Ex Jim Hunter AMA Number 1 Plate Holder , We originally owned this bike around three years ago and it was in the condition it left the race track . Imported from the USA by a European collector and then purchased by myself . The former keeper has restored the Gold Star to and outstanding condition and he has retained the original parts removed from the bike , Some special to the "Jim Hunter" bike . They are supplied with the bike at point of sale . It has the trade mark Honda Twin Leading shoe front brake , "Hunter" magneto , High level exhaust pipe and "Rickman" rear brake hub . The restorer stripped the motor and he tells me it is as new internally and has a special high compression piston .
