1992 Rover Mini 998 cc with 1960’s Cooper Styling. This very attractive mini has been very well put together and as a result is very pleasing to look at and drive. It started life as a quality 998 Mini Mayfair which was is in nice original condition with 54500 miles on the clock and a good service history. It has had the Mk 1 front grill conversion, Mk 1 rear light conversion and MK 1 boot lid and swinging rear number plate. The brakes have been converted to 7. 5 inch Cooper S discs which with the more modern servo work very well. Lovely 10 inch Minilite alloy wheels with Yokohama A008 tyres. The engine is to Cooper Spec with a 12G295 cylinder head (unleaded) with twin valve springs, twin 1. 25 SU carburettors and a 3 branch manifold with RC 40 exhaust. The interior has period seats, matching door cards and the classic oval clocks which have been re-calibrated to give an accurate speed reading. Additional rally style panels have been fitted with additional clocks and a 12 volt socket. I have a thick history file with the original cars history plus a large amount of receipts showing the parts fitted and professional services used to create the car. The period number plate finishes off the look of this great classic mini. The key is that you have far better comfort and refinement compared to a 1960’s car and all of the looks for a fraction of the price!
