A beautifully presented Ex USA dry state MGB. Imported to the UK in 2001 before being registered to the current keeper on the logbook.
This car is a perfect example of the high quality of “rust free” “dry state” Californian import cars of the time. Presented in its original “inca Yellow” Factory colour. This vehicle was originally a 4 speed manual before being professionally converted to a 3 speed automatic when it arrived in the UK.
This car upon arrival and UK registration was professionally converted from Left hand drive to right hand drive and fitted with a wood rim steering wheel. At the same time the vehicles engine and gearbox were completely rebuilt and SU carburettors were favoured compared to the USA spec Strombergs originally fitted. The vehicles Coachwork prior to its arrival to the UK was outstanding (there are photos in the history file) documenting that the decals were present prior to being imported to the UK.
This car is 100% rust free and still maintains much of is factory paint. Shortly after its arrival to the UK there is documentation to support a speedo clock change due to the original being beyond repair.
The history file is fully supported with various receipts, MOT documents, Manuals and hand books.
