MB 190E – 3 Owners with FSH
The Mercedes-Benz W201 is a compact executive car built between 1982 and 1992, positioned between the E-Class and S-Class. MB invested over £600 million researching and developing the 190 and with hindsight acknowledge that the car was ‘massively over engineered’. The car enjoyed strong sales in Europe with over 1. 8 million examples sold and today is widely recognised as one of the finest models manufactured before the “bean-counters” took over at MB.
With just three owners this iconic two litre model with automatic gearbox is totally original right down to the correct radio and unopened first aid kit. The service history is extensive with over 20 service stamps (mostly main dealer) and a warranted mileage of just 122, 000 – very low for one of these cars.
The car presents extremely well in my favourite two-tone ice blue with lovely blue check interior, excellent un-cracked dash and, unusually, benefits from sunroof with ice cold air-conditioning. The history file contains original service book and owner’s manual, original dealer tax-disc holder, old MOT’s and lots of invoices.
This Mercedes has clearly been cherished all her life and is a real credit to the three previous owners. Ready to be used and enjoyed this car will give years of enjoyment to a discerning new owner.
