Here we have a lovely and rare Riley 2. 5 litre RMB, finished in lovely deep Maroon with Maroon leather trim. There are plenty of 1. 5 litre RM Rileys out there but the much more sought after 2. 5 litre car is the more desirable and rarer model. The Riley RMB 2. 5 litre model performs far better than its smaller sister and is more inclined to keep up with modern traffic, yet still retains its pre-war character and styling, what great looking and stylish cars these are. This is an older restoration that still presents very well today. The interior is particularly nice with superb headlining, leather, carpets and wood veneers. The exterior is very smart and the usual troublesome vinyl roof is in superb order, the paint is excellent with only minor cosmetic marks commensurate with age, all the chrome is in superb order. Mechanically strong with excellent oil pressure and a nice gearbox that changes well, the car will happily cruise along at 55 to 60 mph. The car sports its original registration number and comes with its original Buff log book, MOT certificates dating back to 1971 and tax discs going back to 1972. There is some service history dating back to 1969, a workshop manual and drivers handbook with the car. The last owner had this car for over 18 years and obviously loved it.
