Mercedes periodically build memorable discreet supercars ; 300sel 6. 3, 450sel 6. 9 and then the 500e. The 330bhp 5. 0 litre quad cam v8 powered 500e is certainly worthy of being the third car in the stable of three musketeers! It was assembled at the Porsche factory and indeed was effectively hand built.
Our meticulously maintained example is doubly interesting as it was ordered from new in rare colours , Anthracite with loud check cloth... the cabin is in every way a great place to spend time eating up the miles. Our car was used for just that purpose and its condition defy the 126k miles covered.
A comprehensive service, to include a new wiring loom , was carried out by Edward Hall of Mercedes Fame ( invoice on file £8k plus) at 125k miles... accompanied by the fully stamped original service book show this car has been used for purpose but respectfully cherished by all before me. A headlight upgrade has been done which helps for high speed night driving.
Complete with all books , x2 keys long Mot and part exchange possible we believe this to be the best value example available in the Uk right now, certainly our favourite colour combo.
