** Restoration Project **
1982 Austin Mini Pick-Up 1275 cc. This mini pick-up is being sold as a restoration project. It has been owned for the last 22 years by the same owner who has now passed away. It was last MOTed in 2018 and during this year covered 300 miles. Since then he has been too unwell to drive it and has been dry stored. It has been upgraded to a 1275 cc engine plus 8. 4 disc brakes on the front with a brake servo. He was a metal fabricator by trade and made the roll bar and air filter housing which are unique to this pick-up. I would think with a bit of work it could be MOTed and used but I am selling it as a restoration project. The sills and floors look solid but it has over-sills and welded plates in the floor. There are repair panels needed to remove some bubbling in the rear quarters. It will depend on how far you want to go. It could be fully stripped, rebuilt and made into a show winner or could be improved and enjoyed as it is. The interior is nice and the engine runs well and starts easily. There are Mini pick ups on the market priced at £25000 - £27000 for immaculate examples so at the asking price this should be a good starting point. I do have a history file of past MOT’s going back over the last 20 years and the original books.
