This Super Sports started life in 1928 with a side valve Anzani engine and was sold new by Malcolm Campbell Ltd. After the war, it required restoration and ultimately was fitted with the Meadows 4ED engine that it carries today. This has been fully rebuilt with new steel crank and rods.
The chassis was rebuilt in 2016 and new Star radiator was fitted. The substantial file contains very many invoices from Saturn Industries, Ian Lock Engineering, Richard Brothers, Edwards Motorsport, Blakeney Motorsport and others.
The previous owner of some 20 years, used the car extensively, both in competition and for FNCC “Raids” to Italy and elsewhere. It is a perfect car for all club events, performs really well and is enormous fun to drive!
