An immaculate final-facelift R129 SL320 finished in Brilliant Silver with black leather and hood. Full Service history, 95k miles and just 3 owners from new.
We sold this car to its last owner five years ago when it had just 49k miles. It has been enjoyed, well cared for and remains a superb example.
Supplied new by Newgate Motor Company of Chester in January 1999, this SL had one lady owner until 2015, then the second owner for a year, then the last for five.
Being a final-facelift car, it has climate control, traction control, cruise control and Nappa leather as standard but this car was optioned with the desirable xenon headlights, rear seats, heated front seats, power-fold mirrors and central cup holders (surprisingly useful compared with cassette storage!).
It comes with its original hard top in great condition (not pictured).
The car is in excellent condition throughout. The body and paint are lovely, the interior is in excellent original condition and the underside is in superb order. The alloy wheels are unmarked and the original hood has had replacement windows.
Drives beautifully; in fact I recently used this SL for taking part in a navigational rally, The Maharaja’s Tour, and it performed brilliantly.
Full service history and has just been serviced by ourselves. All original books and manuals, a folder of supporting service bills and two keys.
A ready-to-go late-model R129 with low owners, full history and in superb condition. Ready to enjoy the remains of the summer.
