Rawles Motorsport is proud to offer for sale this stunning, newly restored zero miles Austin Healey 100 BN1. Finished in its original colours of Black exterior with Red seating, Red carpet and a Black Everflex top this Healey 100 was built on 7th July 1955 as a rare German market car. This late BN1 example remains matching numbers and has been rebuilt very accurately to original specification.
Restoration of this Healey was completed in around 2021 by a British classic car specialist in the USA with the car imported in late 2021 and registered in 2022 with all duties paid. Restoration was comprehensive and involved the body being fully stripped and taken back to bare metal before a full rotisserie repaint. The paint is to a very nice standard and has an excellent depth and coverage as can be seen in the gallery photos.
The interior of this Healey was fully re-trimmed during restoration with new leather faced seating in original Red, a new correct carvel carpet set plus new door cards, armrest and more. New wet-weather gear is provided with an original style Black Everflex hood with a correct plastic weld screen and a Black Everflex tonneau. The sidescreens are original items.
To drive this Healey is very pleasant, free from rattles and shakes, drives straight and true and deploying very good performance owing to a full engine rebuild at the time of restoration. Rawles Motorsport has performed a full shakedown and some minor tweaks since the rebuild which included all new dampers, a major brake rebuild and steering adjustment.
