On offer is this very smart MGB Roadster unusually finished in black, with red trim. It has the most desirable specification including wire wheels and overdrive plus all of the early features of the BMC era cars.
With very low ownership, the last for nearly twenty years, the car has clearly been well cared for. Whilst there are no supporting invoices, the information in the thick history file suggests that the car was comprehensively restored in 1987 by Sheriff Motors and there is a plaque under the bonnet confirming this. The current mileage showing of around 22, 000 miles is probably what has been covered since that restoration.
The file contains many old MoT certificates and receipts for regular maintenance. We have thoroughly inspected the car's structure and all is well being both solid and requiring no attention other than a regular top up of the Waxoyl rust protection.
