Lot 95
A 1953 Royal Enfield 250S, registration number 289 UYV, frame number S2295, maroon. From a private collection this Royal Enfield has been the subject of a cosmetic restoration. The motorcycle has been dated by the owner's club and is a little unusual as it is fitted with a swinging arm frame which should not have been available until 1954. The engine is said to run but is not original to the frame and has been rebuilt with non period parts. Due to a recent lack of use it would be advisable to check the motorcycle over before taking to the road. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
