The Appeal
The Fiat 500 D is among the most charming and recognisable city cars of the 1960s. These diminutive little cars and their rear-mounted air-cooled twin-cylinder engine are one of the most iconic designs of all time - synonymous with the '60s and synonymous with Italy. Needless to say, it continues to be clamoured for by enthusiasts - a great little classic, through and through.
This 1963 example has been in its current keeper's care for approximately six years and benefits from a comprehensive restoration carried out around two years ago. That programme encompassed an overhaul of the original 499cc twin-cylinder engine, renewal of all floor panels, and a full repaint covering both the upper body and underside.
