Whilst the smaller engined Healey Sprite was very popular, the “Big Healey” as it’s often called is the one to get.
The six cylinder 2912cc engine delivers significantly more power than the smaller engined Sprite and coupled with a host of other upgrades the Big Healey was a popular competition car.
You can still see many of them at events from local hill-climbs to historic races demonstrating the excellent sporting prowess of this car. This particular Healey hasn’t been raced, instead it’s been used for sunny Sunday leisure drives, and we can't think of a better car for that.
This car has been stored in a garage, only used in the dry and has been meticulously maintained as well as benefiting from a bare-metal respray in 2005/6.

Sliding into the driver's seat behind the wood and steel steering wheel of this Healey 3000 you instantly get a sense of how much fun this car will be to drive.
The low-slung position, wooden dash, chrome trimmed gauges and chrome switch panel provide you with a classic British sportscar experience. The seats show little signs of wear and the door cards, carpets, dashboard and centre console are all in very good condition.
There is some patina of age that is befitting of the car and everything works with the exception of the radio as the aerial was not refitted after the respray.
