The Appeal
In the late 60s and early 70s the world of off road motorcycling was somewhat limited. Of course there were bikes specifically designed for that sole purpose, but what if you wanted a bike that could take you both on and off the beaten track? Cue the Triumph Trophy TR25W.
The legendary brand’s entry into a rapidly expanding market of modified street machines capable of handling the dirt, the TR25W was highly reminiscent of the BSA Starfire, and was based on an ever popular 250 platform, intended to take over from the ageing Tiger Cub. Built by BSA, the TR25W did gain some popularity but only saw limited years of production spanning from 1968 to 1970, making them an incredibly rare and sought after bike on the collectors market today.
This 1969 TR25W is a wonderful example of the model, having seen some extensive refurbishment by a previous owner it presents in impeccable mechanical and aesthetic order and will surely make a welcome addition to any classic motorcycle collection. Spanning just three production years the TR25W was never made in great volumes and today stands as a brilliantly rare bike, for the avid Triumph enthusiast, this isn’t one to be missed.

Summary
A rare slice of Triumph history that's as good off road as it is on, what's not to like?
The TR25W was a solid street scrambler that today stands as an incredibly rare bike, with production having only spanned three years. In great overall mechanical and aesthetic order this 1969 model is something rather special.
For the avid collector this model certainly makes an excellent candidate to become a part of the fleet and the example we have here must surely be one of the best to have come to market in some considerable time.
