THE APPEAL

Extensively restored over a 16-year period by its current owner, this MG Midget 1500 has been treated
to a comprehensive overhaul of everything from body, interior and mechanics.
This ‘square arch’ Midget has benefited extensively from tasteful aesthetic upgrades including the
removal of the rubber bumpers plus a respray in 2015 to the attractive red paint seen today.
A charming example of MG’s lightweight sports car, modified slightly to look like the favoured Mk III, this
Midget 1500 is an affordable option for the enthusiast looking to enjoy the magic that comes with a
British roadster. Fitted with an attractive interior and accompanied by a substantial folder of its past
works, there’s very little required to make this Midget an exceptional classic.
