Few cars in automotive history have captured the public imagination quite like the DeLorean DMC-12. Born from the ambitious vision of John Z. DeLorean and built at the purpose-built factory in Dunmurry, Belfast, the DMC-12 wasn't a perfect car, but it was a perfect style icon. The brushed stainless steel body panels, gull-wing doors, and rear-mounted PRV V6 felt futuristic and rebellious, in a time when Sci-fi and bold lines had become vogue.
Its subsequent starring role in the Back to the Future trilogy cemented its place in popular culture, and today the DMC-12 is one of the most recognisable and collectable cars of its era - only exacerbated by its low build numbers and DMC's dramatic, short and turbulent history.

With it's neo-futurist lines and stainless steel body panels, it's little surprise that the DeLorean became one of the coolest cars ever built. It's aged remarkably well; timeless yet quintessentially 1980 from rooftop to tyres. This example makes a grand ambassador thanks to its fine level of upkeep.
While the DeLorean was never celebrated as a powerhouse, it's still very fun to drive. This one has reportedly been very well maintained, and still offers every bit of that oh-so-distinctive character.
