The MG Maestro is a practical and useable classic with its 4 doors, hatchback and spacious interior, and they are now becoming quite rare, especially in good original condition like this 3 owner example.
Originally supplied new to British Aerospace the car then went through 2 owners before being bought 18 months back by the current owner.
Since purchase the car has been fully serviced, had a new cambelt fitted and been thoroughly cleaned and waxoyled underneath. It’s presented in good all round original condition with low mileage and is only up for sale due to lack of storage space.
The grey velour and cloth seats have fared well, as has the whole interior and although they do show signs of wear and use there are no rips or tears in any of the fabrics.
Still with its original and still working radio the cabin presents well and benefits from having a factory sunroof and electric windows in the front and is missing a fuse box cover under the dashboard.
Re-sprayed to a high standard sometime in its past the bodywork and paint are in good overall condition with only a few minor imperfections to be found.
The wheels are all very good and have all been recently fitted with new tyres, and other than a small chip in the offside headlight unit there is very little to report.
The Maestro starts well and still delivers a nimble and sprightly drive with the engine pulling well and mechanically is reported to be in good all-round health
A very usable, clean and original MG Maestro that is ready to drive away and enjoy.
