The Appeal
Dating all the way back to 1966, the Mazda Bongo is a name synonymous with practicality, and economy. Over the years, a large array of body styles, drivetrains, and models have been introduced for both Japanese and foreign markets, including this third-generation pickup model.
This Bongo Pickup has seemingly had a rather relaxed life when compared to its legendary workhorse reputation, with only 21K Kilometres displayed on the clock. It also appears to have been quite well cared for over the years, and no doubt benefits from a corrosion-free environment. Clear signs of this can be found with the vehicle’s underside, which appears to be very clean for the vehicle’s age, with both original paint, and tidy underseal on display.
