The Appeal
The BMW E36 M3 GT Individual is among the rarest and most coveted variants of BMW's celebrated M3 lineage. With just 50 right-hand-drive examples produced, each carrying bespoke Individual specification, the M3 GT represented the pinnacle of the E36 generation, a car that married the raw performance of BMW's naturally aspirated straight-six with a level of exclusivity that very few production BMWs have ever matched.
This particular example, number 18 of 50, is finished in the striking Individual British Racing Green, over a Mexico Green Nappa leather and Anthracite Alcantara interior with M-coloured seat accents and Graphite Birds Eye maple wood trims, a specification that is quintessentially of its era and enormously desirable today. It has had just two former registered keepers, with the current owner having acquired it in 2001, and the previous two keepers being family members who sold to one another. Originally purchased from Bates of Harold Wood BMW, it comes accompanied by its BMW service history and original paperwork.
Having been stored in a private garage for the last 21 years and driven sparingly, the car has been carefully preserved rather than subjected to daily use. With its extraordinary rarity, highly desirable specification and decades of careful custodianship, this M3 GT Individual presents a compelling opportunity for the discerning BMW collector.
