The Appeal
The Audi 80 Cabriolet was the last of its line before the TT took over open-top duties, and it was quite a swan song. Sure, everybody loves a TT, but the angular, long-nosed silhouette of the 80 Cabrio is beyond evocative. Pleasingly '90s to its core, and well worthy of its reputation as a solid, eminently drivable modern classic.
This 1999 example has had just one former registered keeper and was imported from Sweden by its current custodian, who has been particularly fastidious. It comes with a history file including service invoices covering both its Swedish and French periods of ownership, with all oil changes reported to have been carried out on schedule.
