This is a very clean and tidy Land Cruiser Amazon VX, the huge 4X4 go anywhere vehicle that benefits from the 4.2 diesel engine, automatic transmission and the highest of all specs, the VX model.
The 100 series of the legendary Land Cruiser Amazon is the one to go for with its increased on and off road abilities and the greatly improved and more sophisticated and comfortable interior.
Inside the cabin is in great overall condition with only the driver’s seat showing signs of its age and mileage.
Otherwise the cabin presents really well and still has the original radio fitted which still works fine (if you manually extend the electric aerial) and plays cassette tapes.
All the electrics work as they should, and the carpets, door cards and headlining, along with the dashboard and centre console are clean and in good presentable condition.
The Metallic British Racing Green paintwork still looks pretty good and bodywork has picked up a few small dings, scratches and scuffs along the way but overall the car presents itself very well.
The original alloys are in very nice condition with good tyres and the bumpers and window seals all look very good, with only a small crack in the windscreen and some stone chips to the front, to report.
Constantly maintained throughout its long-term ownership the car has been kept in excellent running order and is reported to start on the button and drive superbly.
The last MOT had a couple of advisories regarding slight corrosion to the seat-belt anchoring points and the condition of the drive shaft rubber boots, but other than these two minor issues the car ready to drive having recently been fully serviced and a new cambelt.
A very nice and genuine example of the 100 series Land Cruiser Amazon, with few owners, great service history, all the extra niceties in the VX version and the more economical, though plenty powerful, diesel engine
