The BMW K1200 S is a fantastic sports tourer, and when new this was the most powerful production motorcycle ever made by BMW. It featured an incredible, near diesel level 13:1 compression ratio, made possible by very sensitive dual knock sensors that control the timing to prevent pinging and an oil spray system to cool the pistons from below.

This combined low mass valve train gives a 11,000rpm redline that is music to any petrolhead’s ears! It produces a whopping 146 rear wheel bhp for a thrilling ride along with all the comforts a tourer provides including heated grips for those cold days out.

The electronic suspension adjustment (ESA) is a very welcome feature on this tourer, allowing fast adjustment to compensate for a pillion passenger or luggage.

This wonderful bike has been known to the local BMW Motorad dealerships John Clark Dundee and Aberdeen since new which can be checked on their computers.

The original owner displayed it in his Classic Porsche collection. When this collection sadly had to be sold to a well known classic Porsche dealership, the family insisted the bike go with the collection but the current owner managed to buy it.

The current owner only rode it every so often for just a mile or so just to keep everything moving. It's absolutely stunning, and has never seen rain to the best of our knowledge.

V5 present. Bike currently has a private plate not included in sale however original registration will be put back on the bike prior to sale.

Not much paperwork due to the bikes extremely low mileage but MOT certificates are present and a few service receipts showing routine servicing and maintenance such as fresh tyres and battery fitted only due to age and keeping them new and fresh.

In a word, perfect. This bike is in showroom condition, and is faultless. Even though this bike was made in 2005 it is a true time capsule and looks the same as the day it was made. The wonderful yellow, black and grey paint is in perfect condition.

It has a new black Powerbronze airflow screen and a colour matching Baglux cover and the stand in the images is included with the sale. The original clear screen is also included.

Mechanically perfect, very reliable bike starts instantly every time and sounds great.

This bike is barely run in with a genuine 281 miles, and battery and tyres have been replaced to ensure they are always in date. Everything on this bike is in full working condition and perfect order.

The BMW K 1200 S offers the incredible power and speed of an uncompromising superbike, but comes packed with comfort, solidity, and build integrity.
