The RS line of Audis began in 1994 with the launch of the RS2 (Which was based on the Audi 80). The RS line quickly gained success thanks to its impressive performance. The RS4 hit the market in 2000 and has undergone several iterations since, including several turbo variations.
This version though benefits from an engine that bucks the trend of using smaller blown engines, rather Audi opted for a larger high revving V8 to propel this RS4 from 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds. With an impressive 0-60, the sound that can only come from a V8 and an engine that can go all the way to 8250rpm we can see why the RS4 dominated the super saloon segment!

Everyone loves an RS4 Quattro and rightly so, they look great and go even better. This particular one benefits from a beautiful high revving naturally aspirated V8 that sounds as good as it goes and finished in red and black it looks fantastic.

The deep black leather bucket seats and low slung position lets you know this car means business when it comes to fun, yet provides a comfortable driving experience for day to day use. The carbon fibre trim isn’t overstated and looks great in combination with the rest of the black and chrome interior. The interior is all standard except for the addition of the double-din Kenwood touchscreen DAB stereo, which perfectly fits with the aesthetic of the interior.
The interior of this RS4 doesn’t reflect its age or mileage, it presents beautifully inside with the only signs of wear being slight and to the drivers seat bolsters. The dashboard, carpets, trim, seats and headlining all present excellently and are a reflection of the care that has been taken with this car.

This RS4 is a gorgeous car, in red with the Audi badges in black, dark gunmetal Audi alloy wheels, the big vented discs and RS callipers it looks fantastic from any angle. Understated and all business you can’t help but smile when you see it in anticipation of the fun you’ll have driving it.
As with the interior it’s in fantastic condition, from the paint to the light lenses the whole exterior of the car presents very well. There is some light kerbing to the wheels on the passenger side, but given just how good this car is we can forgive this minor imperfection and it really doesn’t detract from the excellent impression this car makes.

As with the interior and exterior this RS4 presents excellently mechanically. The engine bay is immaculate and the underside looks like that of a car half its age, it’s clearly a car that has been very well cared for.
It starts easily, idling smoothly and the V8 sounds fantastic as the revs pick up. The owner informs us that it drives perfectly, accelerating hard and shifting smoothly. With MOT until April 2023 and benefitting from a recent service it’s ready to drive away and enjoy.
Summary
The Audi RS4 Quattro is a great car that offers massive levels of performance coupled with such easy driveability it will make anyone feel like Hamilton. Whilst it might be a great looking car with an exceptionally well finished interior, the star of the show is that engine.
