The Appeal
Chris Bangle’s five-series design has certainly aged very well and still looks superb, especially in M5 specification with that wider track, swollen arches and muscular stance. As the first production saloon with a V10 engine, the E60 M5 is a real milestone as well as a truly potent super-saloon that can show many a supercar a clean pair of heels.
This example has been very well maintained and clearly cherished. It had a full engine rebuild in 2019 by marque specialist Mr Vanos, which included the all-important lower bearing upgrade. Add to that the excellent specification and fine presentation of this car, and you have something truly special and very desirable.
