THE APPEAL
The idea of a convertible Italian sports car is something that appeals to most petrolheads alike. In 2007, Alfa took this dream and made it a reality building a roadster which encapsulated all the driving dynamics that one could want from a two seater sports car. Enter the Alfa Romeo Spider.

THE INTERIOR
- Black Tibet leather interior presents well with no signs of rips or tears on either the passenger or driver’s seat, door cards or dashboard.
- Contrasting Blue Alfa Romeo branding on the seats and headrests offer a premium look.
- The carpets and plastics match the rest of the interior with no noticeable cracks or scuffs that we could see.
- The steering wheel is in excellent condition with the leather and silver trim looking amazing for its age. As far as we are aware, the steering wheel controls work as intended.
- All switches and interior functions are working as far as we know.
- The convertible roof functions as it should with a new hydraulic pump recently fitted.
- There are a few marks to note on the ROPS.
THE EXTERIOR
- Silver paint work looks to be in very good condition with no imperfections to report.
- The alloy wheels also present really well with no curbing or corrosion to note. The wheels could benefit from refreshed centre caps as the current ones are starting to show signs of age.
- Bodywork of the vehicle presents really well with no noticeable door dings, dents, scratches or corrosion.
- The trims and badges around the car look fantastic and equally show no signs of corrosion or fading. The chrome details still look shiny with no pitting to be aware of.
- The convertible roof has no rips or tears and goes up and down without a hitch.
THE MECHANICS
- Quirky 2.2 JTS engine produces 182BHP and will reach 0-62 in 8.5 seconds.
- 6 Speed manual gearbox is perfect for all situations and makes a wonderful addition to the driving dynamics of the car.
- Clean and tidy engine bay with no signs of oil leaks or corrosion to report.
- The car runs and drives very well and the engine ticks over as intended with no unwanted noises.
SUMMARY
A well presented Alfa Romeo Spider. Whilst this car may not be winning any awards for the fastest or best looking, its off the wall characteristics are sure to have you enjoying every minute spent driving. It’s a comfortable cruiser with a well finished cabin and ample amounts of character.
