The Appeal
The Ducati 1198 S Corse Special Edition was created to celebrate the marque's World Superbike and Superstock championship victories, and it represents the pinnacle of Ducati's traditional, mechanically-focused superbike era, before the shift to electronic, frameless designs. From the factory, it arrived laden with racing-grade components: Öhlins suspension, Marchesini forged alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, and a Termignoni exhaust system, all wrapped in the bold Ducati Corse livery. Very few examples are reportedly available across Europe, making this a rare machine.
This particular example was imported from Japan and is reported by the vendor to be entirely accident-free, with no major scratches or scuffs. The vendor states that it presents as near-new and considers it one of the best-preserved examples currently available. We are told it has been recently serviced by a Ducati specialist in Warsaw, and is described as ready for the riding season.
