"The Tiger, a stronger and powerful version of the Sunbeam Alpine, was partly designed and developed by Carrol Shelby, who had previously done the same with the AC Cobra. Assembled at the Jensen factory, they were produced only between 1964 and 1967. Rare and much desired by collectors, they were at the time, fantastic cars. A 1965 report in the British magazine Motor Sport concluded that - no combination of an American V8 with a British chassis, could be happier"
