Introduced for 1961, the Navigator was the first bike to be built on the Norton production line at Plumstead. With the 349cc model, the firm addressed almost all of the 250’s troubles and produced a very fine lightweight four-stroke twin.
This standard specification example was despatched from the factory to Horsman Motorcycles of Liverpool, and purchased by H. W. Dulson of Birkenhead in April 1962. The Norton is in good order, though as has not been used recently will no doubt benefit from some recommissioning This Navigator is with V5C and dating letter to confirm original specification.
