The Morgan Plus 4 is a sports car produced by the Morgan Motor Company. It is a more powerful and, in the case of the earlier cars, a slightly longer version of the company's previous 4/ 4 model. Plus 4 production ran from 1950 to 1969.
This 1968 Morgan Plus 4 4 seater really is something special - it is genuinely one owner from new, never been restored and is in completely original stunning condition. The car was new to a neighbour of ours and we have known it ever since. We can safely say opportunities like this don’t come around often.
The car starts and runs fantastically - it is fitted with the 2138cc Triumph engine as well as a stainless steel exhaust. It sounds great and goes even better! The drivetrain is in perfect working order, the gears are direct with no noises at all. It handles very well and is fitted with new tyres all round.
The paint work is completely original, it shines well and on the whole is very good. Personally, we think it’s stunning. The interior is, again, original and in excellent condition with no rips or tears.
The car comes complete with full wet weather gear, which possibly has never been used, as well as a new tonneau cover.
We have both history and paperwork including the current V5 and some letters from Morgan when new.
