An absolutely superb example of this iconic sports tourer, complete with works hard top and soft top. The bodywork (including paintwork), the chrome work, the underneath, interior, wheels and tyres are all excellent. The specification of the car is nice and original with only a couple of very minor improvements, including the addition of an oil pressure gauge and repositioned expansion tank. The original type Triumph V8 engine sounds great and runs very well and in fact the engine was replaced with a rebuilt unit form Rimmer Bros. not many miles ago. Very clean underneath the bonnet. The automatic gearbox is smooth and everything works as it should do. The chrome wire wheels and tyres have recently been fitted and are in fine condition, there are four original type alloy wheels that come with the car, again, in very good condition. The mileage of just under 85, 000 is thought to be genuine. MOTd to May 2018, there is a good history file showing that it has been very well maintained - we think you would struggle to find a another Triumph Stag in such correct condition for this price.
