The air-cooled, six cylinder horizontally opposed rear mounted engine, drives the rear wheels. Maximum speed is over 160 miles per hour and 0-62. 5 mph takes just 5. 4 seconds. The 3. 3 litre engine produces 300 bhp DIN at 5, 500 rpm. It has a Turbo charger with intercooler, Bosch K-Jetronic metering, and a compression ratio of 7:0:1. Maximum torque is 430Nm at 4, 000 rpm. The hydraulic, dual-circuit, servo-assisted braking system incorporates deeply finned, light alloy, 4-piston calipers with cross-drilled internally ventilated discs. 62. 5 mph to rest takes just 3. 3 seconds.
