The Appeal
Alfa Romeo’s diminutive Alfasud is widely regarded as one of the best-handling front wheel drive cars of the last 50 years. Sadly, thanks to questionable build quality, survivors are few and most tend to be the later ‘Quadrifoglio Verde’ models.
All of which makes this 1981 Series 3 1.2L 3dr hatchback a proper treat for enthusiasts. Finished in Blue Posillipo with beige fabric interior, it is factory standard, unmodified and has covered a mere 61,707 kms from new. As the photos show, it is in very good order inside and out.
The car spent its life in Italy up to 2017 when it was imported to Belgium. There are a couple of points to note in the photos, but overall this is a highly preserved and now exceptionally rare Alfasud hatchback.
