Early production example from the first generation of Porsche 911 F-models
Built to rally specification with period-correct details retained
Fitted with bucket seats, roll cage, additional spotlights, and Fuchs alloy wheels
The Appeal
The very earliest 911s occupy a hallowed place in the Porsche pantheon. As one of the first-generation F-models, a 1965 Coupé represents the purest expression of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche's iconic design, before the incremental changes of subsequent model years began to alter the car's character. Finding one prepared to rally specification only adds to the intrigue.
This example has been built with a clear focus on driving enjoyment, combining a sporting rally aesthetic with period-correct mechanical details. Inside, the cabin is purposeful, while the wooden dashboard with its 911 badge retains a sense of the original cockpit's charm. On the outside, additional spotlights, alloy wheels, and various rally details give the car an unmistakably purposeful stance.
Whether destined for historic rallies, spirited touring, or as a characterful addition to a collection, this 1965 911 Coupé offers a compelling combination of early Porsche provenance and motorsport-inspired appeal.DSC00549 Stijn Classics-World.jpg10.75 MB

The vendor reports the car starts and runs well
With its engine and, therefore, much of its weight sat over the driven rear wheels, the 911 made an effective rally car, finding traction where others struggled. All presents very well indeed inside the engine bay of this example, and we're informed that it runs and drives very well.DSC00579 Stijn Classics-World.jpg12.09 MB
