This must be one of the prettiest Mk2 Spitfires we’ve seen in a long time. Finished in the classic Old English White, it has been professionally and extensively restored in France and presents at a very high level.

The refurbishment work highlights how well Michelotti’s design for the original Spitfire succeeded. The panel alignment, the excellent paintwork and the crisp details such as the chrome wires and the black interior all testify to the quality of this restoration. It perhaps isn’t surprising to learn that the car carries a French MOT valid until March 2028.
