While many believe the Audi Quattro to be the first four-wheel drive performance coupé, there's no denying the fact that the Jensen FF predated it by some fourteen years.
'FF' stands for Ferguson Formula, and you may well be familiar with Harry Ferguson's pioneering tractors. Applying the same engineering used in agricultural four-wheel drive systems to a road car, Ferguson, in collaboration with Jensen, greatly improved the roadholding and handling of the Interceptor using technology well ahead of its time. It was the first-ever production car to have all-wheel drive and anti-lock brakes
This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of just 110 Jensen FF MkIIs ever produced.
As the photographs show, this Jensen has been stripped back and prepared for a comprehensive restoration, sure to be a valuable and much sought-after vehicle when complete.
Most if not all, original parts appear to be present
Bodywork appears straight and sound
Overall good condition for a car of this age
Ready for restoration
The bodywork appears to be straight and in overall good condition, presented in a lovely red paint which will look fantastic when complete. A few known missing parts are the bonnet, lights and badges. Overall, a very nice basis for restoration, and again, most parts appear to be present and stripped, ready to restore.
The interior has been stripped and ready for complete restoration. It appears that all parts are present, and overall, the interior components appear to be in reasonable condition. It is currently trimmed in black leather.d7yeE5NzxygEhMpO9mSyr6jJTdfpKUdJAr7BB4J7.jpeg107.57 KB
