Its spartan layout and simple sheet-metal bodywork can make you forget how extraordinarily innovative the 2CV was. These unmistakable cars changed the face of European motoring thanks to the versatility offered by their innovative long travel suspension, and were instrumental in allowing the French to discover the pleasure of driving and the freedom to move independently after the end of the Second World War.
Of course, the 2CV is also famous for its incredible longevity. In the 1970s, it was still a competitive and highly desirable car and was sold in considerable numbers, with only a few minor updates to keep up with the times. Enthusiasts know that these more advanced versions of the 2CV, equipped with slightly larger engines, are also the best.
This fine example from 1977 still has its original 435 cm³ engine and looks very good in its elegant black livery. It is an efficient car in good condition, accompanied by a useful supply of spare parts. Truly an opportunity not to be missed!
