The Appeal
Introduced on the back of a changing climate, the 'Super Beetle' was brought in by Volkswagen as a product of evolution rather than revolution - but while the lineage was still alive and well, it was re-engineered just enough to keep it abreast of the modern market's expectations. A new front axle (complete with a stabiliser, MacPherson struts, and wishbones) sparked off a redesign of the 'frunk', while the engine was bored out and given a better carb set up to aid in the engine's breathing.
This particular example stands out as a desirable 'double white' variant, combining white bodywork with white interior for a striking aesthetic that turns heads at every opportunity. Having spent most of its life in California's dry climate before being imported to the UK in 2019, this left-hand drive convertible has been meticulously maintained by VW specialist Doug's VW Werks, with comprehensive documentation of all work carried out.
