The Toyota J40 may be the most iconic of Land Cruisers, but its square proportions alone do not sum up the entire range of this off-road utility vehicle. These characterful 4x4s also came in long-wheelbase versions, like their Western counterparts, and quickly established themselves as ideal for estates or rural operations.
This particular utility vehicle was used in forestry and as a hunting vehicle for much of its life. It has a beautiful, authentic and evocative patina of use. It remains structurally sound, despite a few areas of corrosion, and according to the vendor, is still a vehicle that is fit to eat up the miles.
